We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Communications and Marketing Team. The main responsibilities of the job include: • Editing and creating pages on our website • Creating social media campaigns and updating social feeds • Creating and sending email campaigns • Copy writing and creation of weekly newsletters • Helping plan and run a range of events throughout the year Desirable skills: • Organisation and planning skills • A strong work ethic and motivation • Website design and coding • Great copywriting skills and tone of voice • Use of Word, Powerpoint, Excel • Knowledge of Social Media including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn • Good knowledge of Canva, Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite • Email Campaign Management • Team Player • Great sense of humour • Flexibility Working as a team, we help to promote the BII and the hospitality industry, using different media streams, and create detailed information that can be digested by our members. Joining the Comms team at the BII is all about adapting to changing priorities, working as a team and enjoying yourself. You must be able to work on projects independently, but we also work together as a team, bringing ideas to the table, turning them into visuals and seeing them through to the end. You will be working in a friendly office environment in Fleet in Hampshire. There is some flexibility to work from home on certain days, at the discretion of your line manager and the needs of the team and wider company. Full Time Job – 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Holiday Allowance – 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays Salary Range - £21,000.00 to £23,000.00 depending on experience. 3-month probation period. Start Date – As soon as possible
