Simon Rigby

Fresh Produce, dairy and dry goods.

Simon has worked in the food industry for nearly 20 years, gaining widespread experience in fresh, dairy and dry goods in catering supply and importing direct overseas.  His most recent rolls were in the fresh product sector working for Oliver Kay Produce and then Bidfood.

He combines a thorough understanding of customer requirements and priorities with an impressive knowledge of the seasonal availability of fruit and vegetables and how best to utilise this in menu development.  Simon is responsible for sourcing new supply partners and working closely with existing partners, assisting with maximum costing efficiency across the full range.

Stephen Hellewell

Fresh Meat & Poultry 

Stephen has worked for over forty years in the industry, working his way from Saturday boy at the age of eleven to Managing Director of Clifton Quality Meats of Blackpool, Lancashire.  His career started as a Saturday helper at Ken’s Meat Market in St Anne’s in 1974. Ken’s Meat Market became Clifton Quality Meats in 1996 and Stephen was first Factory Manager/Buyer, then General Manager/Buyer and ultimately Managing Director. Over the decades, he has been involved in all aspects of the industry and is highly trained and experienced in each one.  

Stephen is working closely with our meat supply partners and is available to discuss and advise on buying policies and menu development. He brings a passion for and expertise in quality butchering that supports our drive to maximise the potential of meat on your menus.
